Hanze University of Applied Sciences, Groningen, is located in the vibrant student city of Groningen. We have a wide variety of international Bachelor's and Master programmes. Certificate and Exchange courses and our Hanze Summer School. Applied research and innovation is highly integrated in our academic programmes. In addition to this Hanze UAS has various modern facilities on campus to offer it students. Hanze University of Applied Sciences, Groningen, is a multisectorial HE-institution with approximately 28000 students ( 8,1% international students) and 3280 employees. It has had its current form of comprehensive university of applied sciences since 1993. Both decation an d research are practice-oriented. The university offers a number of Associate degree ( 8) programmes more than 50 Bachelor programmes and more than 15 Master programmes. The university has 6 Centers of applied Research and Innovation, which undertake a wide variety of applied research and innovation activities in the fields of: art and society; care rehabilitation, education & sport; energy; entrepreneurship; labor market; and area development. Profiling themes of Hanze IJAS are healty ageing, energy, entrepreneurship and fostering student excellence. The School of Education ( Teacher Training Primary School) offers a dynamic learning community combining applied research with education and the professional field. We offer three Bachelor's degree programmes in education. The School of Education is leader in the field of education in the northern part of the Netherlands, with approximately 1000 students and 80 members off staff. We have the best Teacher Education for Primary Schools programme in the northern part of the country ( external Accreditation Organisationof the Netherlands and Flanders rating, April 2015). We offer students a study programme with many choises.
